There is a certain magic to the Brooklyn experience. As a child out on the streets of Brooklyn every day I socialized with my friends and adults, I also had to fight the bullies and others who intended to take advantage of me. Fortunately these experiences gave me a foundation to excel and cope with adverse situations throughout my teenage and adult years. I also found that there are many people from Brooklyn who felt the same way about Brooklyn.
Therefore, I felt compelled to tell my story of my coming of age so that my family, friends and others could share all of the wonderful experiences I had living in “A Place Called Brooklyn”. The support I received on this journey from my wife Frances, family and friends is incalculable. I hope that you can also relate and enjoy my story.
